Talk to Launa and she will tell you about the origin of the Hole and about her son and husband. It is the start of a RS quest: a soul’s bane. If players hope to do the quest, you can tell her that you would go look for her husband and son. Now take a rope, use it with the Rift and climb down into the Anger Room. Players are able to get wonderful rewards, such as RuneScape gold, 500gp, 500 Defense and Hitpoints experience, Access to the dungeon of Tolna and 1 Quest Point, when you have completed the quest.

The Anger Room

When climb down into the Anger room, you will watch a small cutscene. If players want to get through this room you have to kill the monsters. You will have a choice of taking a weapon from the weapon rack. In fact, you should prepare some fitting equipments and weapons with RS gold before you enter the room. Each weapon only hurts one type of monster in the room. Kill the animals in the room until your Anger Meter fills up, and once it's full, your character will do a weird dance and a dragon comes out. Then the screen blacks out and you will see a short cutscene. Now go through the exit, not the ladders.

Sword - Anger Unicorn
Spear - Anger Bear
Mace - Anger Giant Rat
Battleaxe - Anger Goblin

The Fear Room

When you enter into this room, you have to go around and look into every Dark Hole on the sides of the wall. Because of the only method to get through this room that repeat to kill the Dark Holes until 5 Fear Reapers, you will view a short cut scene. Therefore, buy new weapons is very important with RuneScape gold for this quest. Then go and Enter the Black Hole.

The Confusion Room

In this room you will see lots of doors and monsters. Like other quests, you are able to get RS gold and RS experience to complete your RS power leveling. Leave the doors alone for now, and instead go and attack one of the Confusion Beasts. Be careful as they can poison you, but the poison is weak and only hits 1's. You have to kill that beast 5 times and after the fifth time, there will be only one door standing. Keep attacking the beast until it disappears. Don't stop attacking the beast, even if you are hitting zero. Attack every monster and eventually you will find the real Confusion Beast. You will know when you have found the real Confusion Beast as you will be hurting it instead of hitting zero's.

The Hopeless Room

In this room, you'll have to kill each monster 3 times. Don’t worry it may cost your much time. In matter of fact, it is very simple to defeat and easy to get RS money and experience. When you get it's first form down to 0 hitpoints, it will shrink down and regain its' hitpoints and you'll have to fight it again. After killing it for a third time, it will disappear completely. Now cross the Bridge of Hope and enter the Black Hole.

The Last Room

Congratulation! This is the last step of the quest—the last room. You will see another cut scene as you enter the black hole from the hopeless room. After the cut scene, it is you job to kill the three tentacles. They are quite weak, but they can poison you, although the poison only hits 1 at most. Then Tolna will wake up. When Tolna has woken up, speak to him. When the conversation is over you will appear outside. Once you are outside, Launa will no longer be there, but Tolna will. Speak to Tolna and he will tell you about what he was doing inside the rift. Then he will thank you, and give you your reward (RS gold, experience and quest points). Quest Complete!
